DRAGONFALL

I’ve just released Dualborn: Dragonfall, a top-down action RPG made entirely in PICO-8. You play as Prince Theodor, exploring Azuraan and preparing to free the land from a red dragon.

The main feature is a dual-class system: choose two classes from Warrior, Hunter, Wizard and Druid, then mix their weapons, spells, transformations and other abilities. Class order matters tho... your primary class receives an exclusive bonus that the secondary class does not.

There are enemies to fight, pets to tame, skills to upgrade, equipment to buy and different class combinations to experiment with. Each attempt is one complete run, with no saving. It’s available here on itch.io for Windows, macOS and Linux, and includes the original PICO-8 cartridge:
