Buying the Game through Installments (I'm Broke)

ok, ill keep this short, i wanna buy the game, but i dont have enough money, to spend on the game in one go.

what i can do, is pay in installments, basically, pay a certain amount (not the full amount) on one month, then pay the next amount, next month.

is it possible to subscribe to eccma's 2$ (or higher amount) plan each month, and send him the screenshots, until the full payment is done??

is this viable or am i being ridiculous?

hmmm... installment no, but for 2$? Yes!

Try Cluster, its literally in the main page (if you would like to read, lol).

for 2$ you can have access to the stable builds on the game for a month, the more you pay the more different builds you unlock, but through the 30$ donation(highest tier) the dev will personally send you the itch.io game code, i think this suits your need?

i understand, but as i said, i dont have 30$ of money with me, thats why i asked if i can payout the game in multiple months or even weeks where i can send money when i have it, each month, without exhasting my balance.

the 2$ was asuggestion to the monthly payout, as it doesnt exhast my monthly income, while it can be completed over a few months of pay.

im just asking if this method is possible, or if the game dev will accept this form of pay (again, i cant afford highest tier).

This might be better asked on Discord. As Redtrainer conveyed, there isn't a pre-configured method to achieve what you're saying - but you can pay less if you can't afford more, and still get something(such as the $2 amount mentioned).

If you're wanting to pay in installments for the highest tier, I imagine you might have better luck asking on Discord. I hope you're able to find a good solution. I'm happy to help if you have any general game questions.

umm... actually, i haven't bought the game, and i think you can enter the discord server through the game sent by the dev himself, right??
thats the reason im asking here. im wondering if there are other methods of payment.
anyways thank you for the response. have a nice day

ur making it complicated, lol.

Jusf buy the monthly subscription, get the game, unsub until you have enough money, or resub again if a new update came in a month where the subscription ended.

Also... arent installments a thing for heavy home products? Lol.

I think that is true... Although, I hope you can make it work, Godak!

i know its complicated, but as i said, i dont have 30$ of money with me. so i wanted to ask if there were other ways i can pay the dev without losing cash (im in college and i get a limited allowance).
also regarding the installments, i guess ur right lol, i couldnt find a good word for that so i ended us using it.

i already laid the plan for you, Just buy the Monthly once, download the game, and unsub xD

Dont worry the dev wont be sad, he understands the situation.
But this installment thing? Please... we are gamers, not the local electronics shop, feel free to stay subbed for as long as you want if you wish to be supportive to the dev.

unless ur adamently sure that you will continue playing LonaRPG for 15 months... lol.

Also, goodluck with your college!

Hiii mate! hows it going! i see you're very informed about this game, well, i tested some version of this game (0.10.7) so i wanted to switch to a new version of the game, the 2$ version is possible to get the game and install it? also whats the diference between the stable and the dev version?

another thing i wanted to know is if possible play my save game of the version 0.10.7 to the newest version, if not how i can fix that? do i need to send my save game to someone else to fix it?

The difference between stable and dev is very straight-forward; stable is more stable, dev is actively being worked on (in other words, in development; expect bugs, expect issues). Stable is typically older than the other updates, but is also usually more reliable in terms of being in a stable state.

Also, for that other question, using older saves can be tricky. There has been a recent overhaul/change on things, preventing most older saves from working unfortunately. I often try to work around it by getting whatever save I want to continue at the moment before death, and just dying and respawning while inheriting everything. This can sometimes work. For the most recent changes, however, I don't believe even that will work.

*Update mid-reply. I decided to test it for you. Using a 10.7.5 save, it doesn't actually even let you try run it - so you will definitely need to start new. (or cheat things in) I don't think someone could fix it for you... but I wish you the best of luck. I'll update this reply if I make any progress in getting it to work.

+Edit 1: just grammar
+Edit 2: the stable version is 10.7.5, just so you know. I would recommend playing the Latest version - which is at B.0.10.8.22
+Edit 3: Answering your first question... Honestly, I am not perfectly sure what the options other than $30 gets you - but that one gives you everything, so I recommend that c:

Going off context clues, RedTrainer has mentioned that the $2 option has the stable version, and on Clusters, it says the option after that comes with dev build. The one after that includes 'art source access' and the $30 one is just everything. Hope that helps!

Edit 4: Finicky grammar
