Hi everyone!

I'm renishi, and I'm currently working on a historical fantasy romance VN under my indie label, Elyren Studio. I'm looking for a writer who would be interested in joining the project long term.

About the project

The project is about Wen Yun, a girl born with a rare power that makes everyone around her value her. In her first life, that power eventually gets her killed.

She returns to the past with all of her memories and decides to change her fate. The man who loved her is secretly the reason she was able to return, but she doesn't know what he sacrificed to make it happen.

The main twist is that they both remember their first life, but neither knows that the other remembers.

Length: Around 60 to 75 minutes

  Genre: Historical Fantasy, Romance, Drama, Mystery

  Platforms: itch.io and Steam

The main characters and most of the lore are already worked out. There are still some parts of the story that I'm figuring out, so I'd like the writer to be involved in that process as well.

What I'd need help with

I'd mainly need help with dialogue, scenes, character development, pacing and working through some of the story details together.

I'm especially interested in someone who enjoys character driven romance and historical fantasy. If you like cnovels, cdramas or similar types of stories, that's a big plus.

You don't need professional writing or VN experience. I'm more interested in how you write characters and dialogue and whether we have a similar idea of what makes a good romance.

That was mostly a hobby project, but I'm hoping to make something more ambitious this time and build a small team around it.

Payment

My budget is limited, so I'm open to discussing revenue share, payment plus revenue share, or another arrangement depending on the scope of the work.

I'm mainly looking for someone who actually wants to stay with the project through development rather than just write a few scenes and leave.

Hello, I'm interested working with you. I really want to write a romance vn after all my previous works being a different genre. You can check my previous works here, my previous games I can work roughly 20 hours a week but can work more if deadline is up close. I haven't really read much romance vn I'm into more mystery and comedy genre, but in anime I like love is war, waiting in the summer, and words bubble up like soda pop.

Hi I saw the post about your idea and I do like the distinction that even if they both remember Thier old lives they don't know what the other one knows and she doesn't know what her lover sacrificed to make it happen that is a source of good tension.

I do enjoy character driven interactions when it comes from 2 characters not being mean to each other for the sake of the plot but rather when the tension comes from circumstances.

 I did develop a touhou idea for romance I can send you that if you want to check it out the idea was something I didn't publish I developed it a little
