liked the concept and direction, with updates could become a fun automation-esque game, struggled to understand what to do at first due to lack of direction however, might just be a me issue since i don't tend to play games like this but i thought i'd give my input :)
Thank you! I planned on having a guided tour, and controls displayed on the buttons at the bottom but didn't have time 😅. I'm planning to add the mechanics I had in mind and get a tutorial in there.
This game was really cool it took me a second to clock how it works, I loved seeing my base get bigger. Three things I would add is audio lots of it, tutorial would be really good and a win state I got rid of all the asteroids and expected a win or more rocks to spawn. Maybe mixing some tower defense elements as welll would be cool bots come to destroy your base so you need to mix building prodcution, habitats and defense.
Thanks! I added an audio system then didn't have time to do any sound design 😆. I planned to add a guided tour and had 2 ideas for the win state but didn't have time to implement the milestone system I had in mind so you could achieve the final milestone. I also had an idea for a building upgrade system which would need you to place buildings in a specific configuration to merge them into an upgraded building so you have to plan/juggle space on your base.
I was unsure about adding combat, but I was definitely thinking of adding some kind of obstacles/antagonists for the player to resolve.
