I’ve been and fixing the things that made the game feel less smooth or less ready to share. This update focuses on making the game easier to start, clearer to understand, and more reliable in the browser.
What changed:
- Same-device play now works better in the itch.io player
- The Start Local Match button should stay visible instead of getting pushed off-screen
- Player labels are clearer in local multiplayer: Player 1 and Player 2
- Beginner bot matches now start a little more gently
- The setup screens are more compact and easier to use
- New screenshots and page materials were prepared for the itch.io page
- More small safeguards were added so these issues are less likely to come back
Neon Clash is still in development, so feedback really matters right now. If you try it, please tell me what felt fun, confusing, unfair, broken, or missing.
Thanks to everyone testing the game early. Every bug report and honest comment helps shape the next version.
