[Godot] Looking for team members for an MMORPG merchant simulator game

Hello!

We are looking for several other members for an offline mmorpg simulator game.

We will need help with programming, level design, 2d art (pixel) and music. More importantly tho, we want to team up with those who are proficient at one thing they do, love/used to love mmorpgs, enjoy the trading or shop aspect of mmorpgs.

The game has a pretty tight scope. Simple controls, no combat, focusing solely on the gameplay. We have a fully fleshed GDD.

We currently have a developer (me) and a game designer. The game engine of choice is Godot.

If anyone is interested just send me a dm on Discord and we can chat.

My discord is: Madrize

Hi Madrize, were you thinking about paid, revenue share, or unpaid? :)

This is initially hobby. if we get to a playable state, we will do revshare.

Hi Madrize — I’m Kateryna, a composer for games and visual media. The offline MMORPG merchant-simulator focus sounds well suited to atmospheric, loop-friendly game music. I’d be interested in discussing the hobby-first, revenue-share-later setup if the music role is still open. Hey Madrize, saw your post about the offline MMORPG merchant sim — the trading/shop-focused, no-combat scope sounds like a smart way to keep it achievable. I've got Godot experience and have shipped mobile games before (published under my own studio, O2cool168), so I can help out on the programming side. Would love to hear more about where the project's at and see the GDD if you're open to sharing it. Let me know!
