Pretty impossible for the beginning of an idle game, basically stuck where the other people said. I think it would feel more fair if you could click drag your archers after placing so you can focus down enemies, or allow them to walk around the castle wall by themselves.

I bought the upgrade for $80 before the collector and I soft locked myself

I haven't played many incremental so I might not be the target audience, seems easy to get filtered early if you buy wrong things (is that normal for this genre I dunno). Seems like going from 0 enemies to every village sending guys at you at once is a bit too much of a ramp-up.

Also I still think the castle should be evil and the collectors should be goblins. The whole game makes more sense if you are the necromancer.

getting 4 collectors and 3 archers seems to be the limit for me, the economy doesn’t match the rate of the enemy scaling. I eyed the upgrades to see if there was something ultra strong I was missing and was worth prioritising, don’t think so.

collector AI could use corpse retargeting every X frames to see if they can grab a nearer one killed after they departed.

I’d prefer set slots for defenders, manual placement brings about my autism of pixel perfect diagonal formations instead of a simple line on the wall.

Don't buy the upgrade for $80 before you buy the collector or you'll soft lock yourself
