Micro Jam is a bi-weekly Game Jam (game development competition) held on itch.io. Every Jam has a pre-set theme and a surprise prerequisite that is divulged once the Jam starts. The prerequisite can be voted on in the Micro Jam Discord server and is open for interpretation.
All official voting will be held on the official Micro Jam website; this is to prevent cheating. Voting on itch.io is optional and will not affect prizes.
It's absolutely fine if you do not finish your game in time. You can submit it late within 6 hours after the submission window closes!

These are the criteria:
➤ Presentation & Enjoyment - how well polished the game is, how fun it was to play the game
➤ Art & Gameplay - graphics, sound, how well things are styled and look and work together
➤ Sound/Music - how well the music and sound effects work together to create the intended atmosphere
➤ Use of theme - how well the theme is integrated
➤ Use of prerequisite - how well the prerequisite is integrate
▸After the voting period has ended, a Judge panel will assess a bracket of games to be chosen to receive a prize (See "Prizes" section above).
➤ Keep the game content clean (no explicit, NSFW or disturbing graphics)
➤ Keep the game content in English (except for the title; it can be in any language)
➤You are allowed to change/submit a late entry 6 hours after the Jam ends, and you can do so through our Discord
➤ You aren't allowed to delete, add, or change GAME FILES 6 hours (grace period) after the submission period (Micro Jam locks your page)
➤ You can't win 2 prizes in the same category (we won't consider your lower ranking game for judging)
➤ To be eligible for prizes, you must be in our Discord community.

Yes and no. Someone can win both a top 3 award as well as a "Best Ziva/GameMaker Entry" Award. Their prize will be both of the awards, (E.G. obtaining a role in Discord and obtaining CraftPix key whilst getting 2 certificates) and the cash prize.
