Help Us Build A Massive Fantasy RPG In MINECRAFT For A Veterans Service Dog Charity - Volunteers WANTED!

"Oathbreaker: War of the Nine Crowns" is a large-scale fantasy RPG and adventure project being built inside Minecraft by the Kingdoms Collective, a growing volunteer community working alongside professional builders and creators.

More than $20,000 has already been invested into the project’s professional build team and large-scale world development. That investment is helping establish the core world, major environments, and architectural foundation, while the Kingdoms Collective is bringing together volunteers to help create the story, gameplay, systems, dungeons, characters, quests, and countless details that will bring the world fully to life.

The goal is to build an enormous, story-driven world filled with kingdoms, cities, dungeons, quests, factions, bosses, custom creatures, voice dialogue, environmental storytelling, siege warfare, and an hours-long campaign — while using the project to raise awareness and donations for K9s For Warriors, an organization that provides trained service dogs to veterans.

A huge amount of the foundation is already underway. What we need now are people who want to help create the parts that will actually make the world feel alive.

Discord: vX_Sparrow_6

THE PROJECT

"Oathbreaker: War of the Nine Crowns" is being designed as far more than a normal Minecraft map or server.

The current master world is approximately 15,000 × 15,000 blocks, divided across nine major fantasy kingdoms, each with its own terrain, architecture, cultures, settlements, history, conflicts, and identity.

The project is planned to include:

• Nine major kingdoms

• 50+ cities, castles, towns, villages, and settlements

• 30+ major dungeons and underground locations

• Custom terrain and biome regions

• Giant castles, capitals, temples, ruins, fortresses, ports, and ancient cities

• A full story-driven campaign

• Side quests and optional adventures

• Boss fights and major encounters

• Custom mobs, creatures, enemies, and NPCs

• Voice dialogue

• Books, journals, legends, histories, and environmental storytelling

• Custom gameplay mechanics

• Puzzles, traps, secrets, and exploration

• Redstone, commands, plugins, datapacks, and/or Bedrock add-ons where appropriate

• Multiplayer gameplay

• A large-scale Capture the Kingdom siege/PvP mode

• Java development with eventual Bedrock compatibility and release goals

This is not a project where every creative decision has already been made.

There is still an enormous amount left to invent.

That is exactly why we are recruiting.

LORE & WORLD WRITERS

We need writers and worldbuilders who want to help make the nine kingdoms feel like places that existed long before the player arrived.

You could help create:

• Kingdom histories

• Wars and ancient conflicts

• Royal dynasties

• Factions and political rivalries

• Religions and belief systems

• Legends and folklore

• Heroes, villains, kings, generals, criminals, scholars, and other characters

• Races, cultures, traditions, customs, and social structures

• Ancient civilizations

• Lost kingdoms

• Books and journals players discover throughout the world

• Myths explaining major landmarks and ruins

• Environmental storytelling

• Relationships between kingdoms

• Hidden histories and mysteries

• Town and settlement identities

• Character backstories

You do not need to be a Minecraft expert.

If you enjoy fantasy writing, RPGs, tabletop games, worldbuilding, history, mythology, or creating believable fictional cultures, there is room for you.

CAMPAIGN, QUEST & GAMEPLAY DESIGNERS

We need people who enjoy designing the actual adventures players will experience.

You could help design:

• The main campaign

• Major story arcs

• Side quests

• Character-driven quests

• Exploration quests

• Dungeon stories

• Political storylines

• Mysteries

• Investigations

• Moral choices

• Faction missions

• Hidden questlines

• Treasure hunts

• Boss encounters

• Puzzle sequences

• Escapes

• Sieges

• Ambushes

• Large battles

• Exploration-based storytelling

• Optional secrets and Easter eggs

If you have ever played Skyrim, The Elder Scrolls, The Witcher, Baldur's Gate, Dragon Age, Fallout, Dark Souls, Zelda, Dungeons & Dragons, MMOs, or other RPGs and thought, “I would love to design something like this,” this is the kind of role we are trying to fill.

DUNGEON & ENCOUNTER DESIGNERS

There will be more than 30 major dungeon locations, in addition to smaller caves, tombs, ruins, hidden passages, underground cities, Nether locations, and other adventure areas.

Dungeon designers can help create:

• Ancient tombs

• Crypts

• Mines

• Fortresses

• Sewers

• Catacombs

• Temples

• Caves

• Monster lairs

• Lost cities

• Underground civilizations

• Puzzle dungeons

• Boss arenas

• Trapped ruins

• Haunted locations

• Hidden vaults

• Environmental hazards

• Secret rooms and alternate routes

We especially want dungeons that tell stories instead of simply being rooms filled with enemies.

BUILDERS

We are always interested in talented builders who want to contribute to a serious large-scale world.

Projects may include:

• Castles

• Cities

• Villages

• Fortresses

• Temples

• Palaces

• Ports

• Ruins

• Dungeons

• Bridges

• Roads

• Farms

• Markets

• Monuments

• Interiors

• Military installations

• Fantasy architecture

• Cultural architecture

• Environmental landmarks

Different kingdoms will use very different architectural styles, so there is room for people with very different specialties.

TERRAFORMERS & ENVIRONMENTAL BUILDERS

The terrain itself is a major part of the project.

We need people interested in:

• WorldPainter

• Custom terrain

• Mountains

• Rivers

• Coastlines

• Islands

• Forests

• Cliffs

• Deserts

• Swamps

• Jungles

• Alpine regions

• Volcanic regions

• Fantasy biomes

• Roads and travel routes

• Natural transitions between kingdoms

• Environmental landmarks

• Custom caves

• Giant natural features

The world is being designed so that exploration itself feels rewarding.

INTERIOR & DETAIL BUILDERS

Huge cities mean absolutely nothing if they are empty.

This role is for people who enjoy filling the world with the smaller details that make it believable.

Examples include:

• Homes

• Taverns

• Inns

• Shops

• Markets

• Workshops

• Libraries

• Barracks

• Kitchens

• Temples

• Warehouses

• Noble estates

• Farms

• Blacksmiths

• Docks

• Streets

• Alleys

• Furniture

• Props

• Storytelling details

• Signs of everyday life

People who enjoy decorating and detailing are extremely valuable to this project.

PLUGIN, ADD-ON, DATAPACK & TECHNICAL DEVELOPERS

We need technical people who want to help turn the world from a beautiful map into an actual RPG.

Potential systems include:

• Custom mobs

• Boss mechanics

• Quest systems

• Dialogue systems

• Custom items

• Weapons

• Armor

• Abilities

• Classes

• Factions

• Reputation

• NPC interactions

• Shops

• Loot systems

• Dungeon mechanics

• Events

• Siege mechanics

• Capture the Kingdom systems

• Custom UI

• Multiplayer systems

• Fast travel

• Progression

• Secrets and unlockables

We are interested in people experienced with Java plugins, datapacks, scripting, commands, Bedrock add-ons, behavior packs, resource packs, or related systems.

You do not have to know everything. Specialists are welcome.

COMMAND BLOCK & REDSTONE DESIGNERS

There are countless opportunities for technical Minecraft creators.

We need help with things like:

• Dungeon events

• Boss arenas

• Doors and gates

• Traps

• Puzzle systems

• Scripted sequences

• Environmental effects

• Interactive locations

• Quest triggers

• NPC interactions

• Cutscene-style moments

• Siege systems

• Arena mechanics

• Secret entrances

• Moving structures

• Adventure-map mechanics

Creative problem solving matters more than having one specific technical background.

CUSTOM MOB, MODEL & TEXTURE ARTISTS

The world needs creatures that feel unique to its kingdoms and stories.

We are interested in:

• Blockbench modelers

• Texture artists

• Creature designers

• Boss designers

• Weapon and item artists

• Armor designers

• Custom mob creators

• Resource-pack artists

• Environmental artists

There is room for everything from grounded medieval creatures to full fantasy monsters.

VOICE ACTORS

The project is planned to include voiced characters and story content.

Eventually we will need voices for:

• Kings and queens

• Soldiers

• Villagers

• Merchants

• Quest givers

• Companions

• Villains

• Generals

• Scholars

• Priests

• Criminals

• Dungeon characters

• Narrators

• Bosses

• Background characters

This will grow considerably as the campaign and characters are written.

SOUND, MUSIC & AUDIO

We are also interested in people who work with:

• Music

• Ambient audio

• Sound design

• Combat sounds

• Environmental sounds

• Cinematic audio

• Voice editing

• Audio cleanup

The goal is eventually to give different areas of the world their own atmosphere and identity.

MARKETING, FUNDRAISING & RECRUITING

This is one of the areas where we especially need help.

A project this large cannot grow purely through builders and developers.

We need people who enjoy:

• Social media

• Community outreach

• Recruiting

• Networking

• Fundraising

• Creator outreach

• YouTube outreach

• Twitch outreach

• Discord management

• Reddit

• Minecraft communities

• Press and media outreach

• Charity promotion

• Promotional writing

• Video editing

• Trailer creation

• Screenshots and promotional content

• Organizing launch events

• Contacting creators and communities

You do not have to build anything in Minecraft to make an enormous contribution.

Someone who brings five talented people into the project may have just as much impact as someone who builds an entire castle.

PROJECT ORGANIZATION & TEAM LEADERSHIP

As the community grows, we also need people interested in helping organize different departments.

Possible future leadership areas include:

• Writers

• Quest design

• Plugins/add-ons

• Builders

• Dungeons

• Marketing

• Recruitment

• Community management

• Playtesting

• Technical development

If you have experience leading gaming communities, development teams, volunteer organizations, Discord communities, or collaborative projects, I would absolutely like to hear from you.

PLAYTESTERS

Eventually, we need people willing to deliberately break everything we create.

Playtesting will include:

• Quest testing

• Dungeon testing

• Multiplayer testing

• PvP testing

• Boss testing

• Exploration testing

• Bedrock compatibility

• Java compatibility

• Performance testing

• Bug hunting

• Balance feedback

• Navigation feedback

• Story feedback

There will be plenty to test as systems begin coming online.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You do not need to be a professional.

We are interested in experienced creators, beginners trying to build a portfolio, students, hobbyists, Minecraft veterans, game developers, writers, artists, RPG fans, history nerds, D&D players, programmers, marketers, veterans, creators, and anybody else who looks at this project and thinks:

“There is something here I would love to help create.”

You also do not need unlimited free time.

Some people may contribute for months. Others may design one dungeon, write one questline, build one structure, create one creature, voice one character, or help with one major system.

It all adds up.

WHY WE ARE BUILDING IT

"Oathbreaker: War of the Nine Crowns" is being developed as a charity-focused community project supporting K9s For Warriors.

The organization helps veterans suffering from invisible wounds of military service by providing trained service dogs at no cost to the veteran.

The project itself is being funded separately. The intention is for the completed game, community events, streams, creator coverage, and eventual release to direct attention and donations toward the charity.

At the end of all of this, we want to create something genuinely memorable while using it to do some good.

CURRENT STATUS

This is not an idea that exists only on paper.

Work on the world is already underway.

More than $20,000 has already been committed to professional build work and large-scale world development. Professional builders are involved, terrain and world planning are in progress, existing builds and environments are being assembled, recruitment has begun, and the Kingdoms Collective community is actively growing.

The foundation exists.

What we need now are more people who want to help turn that foundation into a living world.
