how the game fits the uplifting theme?
You are a lighthouse guiding lost ships home. No timer, no failure, no enemies. Each ship that reaches the pier lights a window in the town, and when the last one is home, the sun rises.
how the game fits the ocean theme?
The whole game is at sea at night. You signal ships with short and long flashes of light, then guide them past rocks and fog into the harbor.

Great game! Really cozy and lovely, and I like the morse code idea- it's so adorable how the boats just wait there until you communicate with them.
Would be great for mobile too!
The only small critique I have is the sound for the 'long' signal was a little grating, especially as the other sounds were quite nice. Found myself dealing with the ones who used the long signal first xD -- of course, that might have been their plan all along!
Could be cool to have boats only show their code when you hover the mouse over them too? Makes it even more interactive.
Cool game, thank you.
Perhaps it would be more clear to make the bright time of day after the rocks switch a little longer to be able to orient. The animation of waves crashing on the rocks is a critical addition - the game would have been irritating without it.
It's also fantastic that you put options for the ship speed and beam width. It would be great to include a setting for the screen brightness too.
I got in a few situations where the large ship was bouncing off rocks from the left and the right. I think it was around 30 bumps - can a ship sink? I think it's just keeping track of the bumps - as far as I can see there are no bad consequences... I don't think a ship can go backwards even though that is a natural reaction (and they can go backwards in real life). Is it worth adding? Maybe if the bumps have an impact on the score.
"The largest ship comes home last. It always does."<== No, it didn't in the game! :P
Good luck!
i think this is the game i rated the highest, the only thing that didn't convinced me is maybe the speed of the boats that is too slow and the fact that sometimes they "bug" into the lighthouse. but i liked so much the idea and the art!
I am really glad to hear that. Thank you so much for feedbacks.
game is really good!
the only thing i don't like about it is the sound from the boats
it can get annoying sometimes when there all trying to get your attention at once
thank you so much for playing and feedback.
I love the art assets made in this game. The morse code mechanic is an interesting take. The music of this game is one of the most uplifting ones among the game jam entries. The attention to detail on the waves hitting the rocks, dolphins jumping out of nowhere, and the reflection on the boats makes feels nice, and how you've approached to add those features makes the game really uplifting. My only negative take on this entry is I dislike how you can only guide one ship at a time, making the other ships emit their loud signal noises. I think if you can guide multiple ships at once, that would be pretty satisfying. It would place the player to a decision on whether they shall guide more ships to advance the game faster but risk bumping into more rocks, or just guide one ship at a time to play safe if there's too many rocks.
That feedbacks really good for me thank you so much.
Nice and casual gameplay. Matches the theme. Love that you can play with only the mouse.
Excellent work!
Thank you for playing i am glad to hear that
