This is the work of someone who actually know how a table work on a rpg sesh.
Why is this the first time I'm reading the term "weather wizards?" Extremely cool. I also enjoy that the GM is directed to fill in the details of the crystal.
I love the inclusion of lots of mundane gear that creative players could find uses for elsewhere in the dungeon. Very cool transportation adventure!
You've got a solid adventure here that fits the title. You've provided excellent reasons for everything to exist in a 5-room dungeon. Those page margins seem huge to me, and you could use some of that space to break up the text into sections using heading titles or art. Overall excellent work!
Thank you! Good idea on the margins. I've gone back and forth with margins for different projects, I think you make a good point.
There's something about the cover saying 'f*** you' to all conventions of what one is "supposed" to do, that really draws me in. Inspiring.
I can appreciate that! 😅
Believe me, I say it with the highest praise
Cool save the land quest. Seems easy to run. I think your visual design would be better if you included headers to break up the text for easy scanning. Good job!
Yeah, good point! Easy scanning is important.
Would I make that crystal very heavy and bulky? You bet!
I liked this a lot! It was a fun read and has a lot of gonzo stuff going on. Who doesn't love weather Wizards and mysterious subterranean creatures?
I also thought the layout was workable and the map very legible.
I feel like tying a solid idea for the crystal would really strengthen the module! I want to know what YOUR vision for the trek up with the crystal looks like, because a GM will homebrew it anyway. Maybe even a table, with effects: Big crystal, takes two players. Bright crystal, effects stealth, etc etc.
In keeping with that idea, in a module I would pick up to run, I think I'd want more exact amounts for how much food is in the crates an barrels in room 2. Just to lower prep overhead.
I think you did a great job with the space, there's a lot here to play with!
Good input. Thank you! My vision of the crystal was to have it large, heavy, and bulky so it would be tedious to move. I was thinking some GMs and players might not want to focus on that aspect of gaming, although I think that kind of thing adds an element I enjoy.
Really captures the spirit of the jam!!!
Thank you!
Great use of the book title and very fitting to the jam theme. I like it!
I like the atmosphere of the abode. And I wanna tame the spideratt!
