It's like the game I imagined when I was a kid looking at squiggly line and dashing through them! Now being brought to life lol

Fun game! Cool and interesting mechanic, it reminds me a little too much of my first game lol. Its a little too difficult, and the collider for the squid should be smaller than the model (feels unfair sometimes), but those mistakes are too be expected for your first game. I had a lot of fun!

P.S. please add a finish screen it was so anticlimatic going back to the first level lol.

Nice work, especially for your first game!

It's always great to see someone making their first game and taking part in a jam. Keep learning, keep experimenting, and most importantly, keep making games.

Good job! ⛧

Very cool idea! I would just add in the description of the game page the controls. They were easy enough to figure out. The animations are very well done! I would love to see this fleshed out more. Nice work!

It's lacking a bit of explanation but I figured out I needed to keep clicking in order to change direction before hitting a wall because of the distance traveled by the squid with 1 click.

There's room for improvement but it was quite challenging so I liked it.  I low-key suspect you to have a deal with a big mouse manufacturer for making us click so hard :p

Thanks for the comment! It was my first game jam and my first game overall, so making everything by myself was a bit confusing. I'm glad you liked it :) and I can assure you that I'm not affiliated with any mouse manufacturer.

Ah yes, completely unaffiliated. That's exactly what someone affiliated with a mouse manufacturer would say.
