Wanted to say thanks for running a jam with this ruleset.
I've been teaching myself Unity and moving toward game dev work, and the honest truth is that on my own I'd have spent this weekend making a few characters move around. Instead I shipped something with a world in it — characters, voice, a whole snowy map — because I wasn't gated on skills I don't have yet.
The "we judge the experience, not the process" line in the rules is what made me actually enter instead of lurking. There's a lot of hedging about this stuff right now and it was refreshing to just be told to go build something.
