Hello,
I'm currently working on my first serious game project, a psychological horror story called Apartment 417.
The story follows Ethan Ward, who starts looking into the disappearance of his younger brother Noah. Before disappearing, Noah had become obsessed with a mysterious apartment known as Apartment 417.
So far, I've written the main synopsis, three character profiles, and a six-scene introduction with dialogue. I'm also starting to work on the rest of the story and its overall structure.
I'm mainly interested in writing, characters, atmosphere and narrative. I'm not a programmer, so I'm not looking to hire someone to simply make the game for me.
What I'm hoping to find is an indie developer or a small team who genuinely likes the idea and might be interested in developing it together. I would continue working on the story, dialogue and characters while the project evolves.
Since this is my first serious project, I'd also rather find out whether the concept actually interests someone before spending months developing the whole story on my own with no idea if it could ever become a real game.
The project is still early, so there is plenty of room to change things and build the gameplay and story together.
