Between is a small interface starter for prototyping character conversations in the browser. It pairs a portrait panel with chat bubbles, a scene picker and a quiet, dark/light visual theme.

Included in the download:

• English and Simplified Chinese versions

• Three scripted scene presets: rainy cafe, seaside walk and weekend bookshop

• Responsive and compact layouts, message suggestions and reset

• Editable HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with no build step or external dependencies

• One fictional portrait, a customization guide and a license for personal or commercial end products

The conversation replies are fixed examples. A backend, live conversation service, accounts and persistent storage are not included; all three scenes use the same portrait.
