Making a tactics game within the time limit is really impressive, well done! The visual style is cool and matches the gameplay well :)
Thanks a lot! I'm glad you enjoyed the gameplay and the visual style. It was definitely a challenge to make a tactical game within the time limit, so I'm really happy with how it turned out! :)
It'a a little difficult to understand at frist, but it's a pretty good game with nice art and gameplay! :D
Thanks for the feedback! I agree that the game could use a clearer introduction and some better explanations. I'm glad you enjoyed the gameplay and the art! :D
Lovely! Strongly reminds me of the combat gameplay of the Dofus games, great work on making this in this short of a timeframe, its really well done! I did notice that once you click a spell, there is no way to get out of it and move before using the spell apart from ending the turn. Id have also loved a bit more help on viewing the characters since they merge a bit with the background sometimes. Amazing job though, its really impressive!
Thanks a lot for the feedback! Dofus is indeed one of my main inspirations for the combat system, so I'm glad that came through!
It is normally possible to cancel a selected spell with Escape, but I realized after the jam that this causes an issue when playing in fullscreen on itch.io. I plan to fix that, along with a few other small issues, after the voting period.
Thanks as well for the feedback about character visibility, I'll keep that in mind for my future games :)
Im sorry but I didn't understand the game and played a bit. did get a slime out :D. I streamed your game and it starts at 3:08:50. Sorry I didn't play for long. but Great Job!
Thanks for trying out my game! It's a TRPG, a type of RPG where combat is played out on a grid. Thanks for sharing your stream, I'll take a look at it! ;)
Nice game, thank you. I don't think I saw a basic attack option without using skills. Is there one?
A few suggestions from me:
* You should include the tag "tactical" instead of "strategic". Strategy is usually about resource management (be that armies or virtual resources) whereas this type of combat is tactical. I'm a fan of this genre, I'm not criticising. You can play my game to see my take on tactical.
* It was nice to read in French but please note that English is a safer option. You risk losing people who would not understand the skills.
Good luck!
Thanks for the feedback! I did indeed post in French due to a lack of time, but you're right about using English!
There is indeed no basic attack at the moment; all attacks are skill-based. And thanks for the note about the "Tactical" tag—I'll change that.
I'm going to give your game a try, too!
Huge fan of grid based games. I'm also a fan of deck builders. I played for a while and want to come back to this later. This reminds me a bit of the game Kartia. Thanks for the submission! I hope to see updates some day.
Thanks for the positive comment! I plan to publish other games like this one in the coming months, as this is just my first.
