Jam Host

Hi there!

I wanted to play your game on my stream but I found the game performs just very poorly. It eats all of my video card's RAM and processing power to just chug along. Unreal Engine games are notorious for doing this. Would you by chance be able to add in some settings controls to allow the player to adjust the video quality, including one to cap the framerate?

Developer

I can definitely do this, but it might take me 2-3 weeks. I'm a little busy right now.

Jam Host

That's fine. I'm going to be continuing to play games for the next few months.

(1 edit)
  • Youtube Link / Twitch Link
  • Graphics:
    • Can hardly see anything , what seems to be here looks like they're completely overcooked
    • The light source from the car isn't positioned correctly.
  • GUI :
    • The compass is a bit ugly
    • The Pages found is a bit in a semi-random spot and for some reason displays as a negative number as opposed to being displayed with a colon.
    • The stamina bar is a bit unnecessarily large.
  • Performance : Mostly Fine
  • Music / Sfx :
    • Music : Seems like it has a half-decent ambient bgm , but it's a horror game so it's a bit unfitting.
    • SFX : No idea, could be fine, could be absent.
      • Splash screen sound is loud.
  • Gameplay : I can't bloody well see.
  • Misc Issues :
    • You can easily find the edge of the map
    • You can easily clip through the map and just fall through it.
  • Notes :
    • The game desperately needs the ability to see further than arm's reach in front.
  • Final Thoughts : I gave the game very little time due to absolutely horrendous visibility and bugs, overall in it's current state it's practically entirely unenjoyable as I can't bloody well see anything.

Thanks for the feedback. I just want you to know that I made this game in 9 days, so that's why it's in its current condition.

The game was very dark and loud, I couldn't really see anything.
