One verb: hold to charge a jump. No walking. Hold longer, fly further. Land or start over.

Second run, this time for the one read you asked for: the first jump in 1-1 is a teach, not a wall. I understood it at once – hold, the dotted arc grows, let go when the mark sits on the next platform – and the first gap is short and the platform wide enough that a rough first hold still lands. No frustration there.

One thing I would look at: the whole screen moves when the little guy jumps. If that is intentional it is a bit much for me – the camera swing pulls my eye off the arc right when I want to watch the landing mark. A calmer camera (or less of it on the short jumps) would keep the focus where the game wants it.

Played it cold on the itch page, mouse, a few minutes. First fall at about 25 seconds, then I went back in and played it through to the finish.

No music, no sound at all – that was the first thing I noticed, and it made the first ten seconds feel emptier than the jumping itself does. The dotted arc while holding is the whole game for me: once I trusted it, I stopped looking at the platform marks and only watched the arc. What read as thin: after a fall I wasn't sure whether the number I had reached was gone or kept – a one-line "best: n" on the start screen would settle that. Very simple build, but the one verb is honest and it works.

Thanks for the notes on Meteor-Dodge, all three are on my list.

I played it till the end, twice, just to see if it was a bug or not. 64 Jumps in total in this game. I actually failed that last jump the second time, since I tried to aim to the very end, in case the next platform just didnt show yet.

One slight thing. I first played this just by "run to play", but that gave a problem, for you could see only very small distance, meaning I had to very quick to resort to jumping by guess, as next platform was not seeable, as I was near the left edge of platform.

Switching to full screen fixed this problem, unless there was platform after jump number 64 still, which I didnt see, nor could jump that far.

Had I not been testing it, I doubt I had jumped all the way to 64, but prbably quit around jump 30, realising there isnt going to be much anything new here.

I didnt submit a game to this jam, so no need to test my game.
