How does your game meet GBJam's theme
The theme old gold was interpreted as Oil/Petroleum wich is extremely old and sometimes called Black Gold.

Nice Dungeon crawler :)
for me i was stuck after arriving on 3th screen and getting spammed with 3 same enemies witohut being able to move anywhere :( just spamming Z button and that the whole gamplay for me
