I got the pop up and then didn't actually realize what that meant for awhile so I just kept playing regular pinball. 😂 It was quite fun and I loved the background of the machine and the color when you moved up higher.
I was genuinely surprised that this is more than a simple pinball game with its solid concept of the ball being a particle that fuses with gold at the top (I wouldn't have thought of that). It's really satisfying to get points and the secondary gameplay style is innovative once you get the hang of its controls. The great Game Boy style visuals are just the cherry on the cake.
It admittedly does have pitfalls that a lot of pinball games have, like sometimes the ball falls into the pit (literally) out of your control, but it's a good thing the game is generous with lives. Plus, it would've benefitted with a soundtrack (though in space there is no sound, so yeah).
Overall, great job on subverting pinball. If you'd like, you could try my game about a goldfish.

At first, I thought it was just a regular pinball game, but I was pleasantly surprised! The game looks amazing, and the concept is fantastic!

Love the gameplay! Took me a second to figure out the second area controls but it was not too difficult. This is so rad. This would be amazing with a sick soundtrack. I hope you keep working on it!
Haha thank you! I should've indeed made a text on that ability/movement. Too bad due to our scope we couldn't make music but hey, space doesn't have sound anyway right xD
Really really loved this game, very well done, extremely addicting to play, I hope you expand on this because it was well done and I could see it becoming huge
We do have lots of ideas but due to scoping its only a simple 2 level stage. Depending our next meeting we might expand it! Thanks for the feedback for our first Game Jam.
Didn't really get how to control the balls after breaking the barrier at first but got it after trying a second time. Well executed, feels very responsive! Got 12k pts.

Got it in 1m 6s, which i doubt is fast but was my first try. Controls are nice and responsive and the physics make sense which are the most important things. Music would have added a lot to the vibe. The link to the secondary theme was there but felt a bit tenuous.
