I enjoyed your game, the graphics and animations were awesome. I like the old gold being some of the time spent with the wife and how it is gone now and he misses it. I noticed the enemies were constantly getting stuck in the terrain but other than that the combat was nice and simple but satisfying when scoring hits. Thank you for the experience.
Really liked the graphics, and the explosion animation was especially cool. The enemy variety was creative too, and I liked the movement animations.
Would have liked a little more in-game story explaining the “Old Gold” connection.. is he an old gold miner?
Overall, very stylish and has a lot going for it. I’d love to be able to play this on actual Game Boy hardware. The ending graphic was touching too.

The levels are randomly generated so unless you got stuck at the starting area or the last (fourth) level, you can just restart a game for different room layout. Thanks for the room collisions feedback though, I will 100% look into it!
