This game is about an explorer who can become a mermaid and investigates legendary old gold. Old Gold is an important part of the story.

the mechanics are very simple, but the level layout really elevate the game.
the map is just the right size, I never got confused or bored while playing.
the art style is super cute, especially the player and NPC sprites. I also really liked the color choices.

Hmmmm.... either there's a hidden lives system or I softlocked the game after dying enough times. I ended up dying on spikes trying to find the clubs door to progress, and it faded to white and didn't respawn me at the last spot I saved.
Before it crashed, though, the platforming was solid, if a smidge heavy, though the game was built around said platforming heaviness, so it was working fine. The visuals are great. The music is good, albeit a tad short of a loop.
In all, a solid entry.
