How does your game meet GBJam's theme
When I first saw Old Gold, I got reminded of when me and my middle school best friend would hop on Roblox and play Mining Simulator, and then I thought "Oh, that's really fitting!". So I made a mining simulator with a twist: The deeper you mine the riskier it gets. Hope you enjoy!

Game's rather rng-based. Could either take 10 minutes of continuous trying or a single minute... depending on how lucky you are that day.
I think you should consider taking in more features from your inspiration (upgrades, selling ores, etc. In exchange make the diamonds much rarer), if you ever decide on expanding this into a full game.
I see it more as a gamble than a game, The digging mechanic is great and the graphics are good as well but the overall gameplay needs more elements to fit as a "game" in my opinion.
