How does your game meet GBJam's theme
The main theme is Gameboy which I think i did manage to at least cover the basic requirements! I hope.
The second theme was ''Old Gold'' and I thought; Oil could be considered as valuable as gold and it's kind of old.
Could be the old gold that some people want to claim for their own.
I went for more of a metaphorically interpretation of old gold, hopefully that's okey! and if it's not, well I guess I failed the task then and that's just funny.

Good game! Very simple, yet effective. Did play for a while, and did get pretty far but I did sadly die after they started swarming at mass. I do suggest adding a bit of feedback juice, like small particle effects for feedback.

I'd admit that the game is a lil bit lacking in the VFX department.
There were plans on adding some more particles however;
With my game project having a stroke the last day and me being too afraid that it'd be too messy with too many particles for such a small screen, I decided to hold on with adding more.
In the post update I'll probably start adding more feedback and fix some of the sprite work so it wont be too messy with more particles.
