How does your game meet GBJam's theme
We interpreted the game jam's secondary theme as something ancient, valuable, forgotten, and preserved across generations. The player discovers an old artifact hidden beneath the ruins of Kharsa and follows it into a forgotten temple, gradually uncovering what it really is.

lovely artwork! the concept sounds really cool too. it’s a shame you didn’t turn it into a game! i’d love to play it.
btw your art definitely has a Game Boy vibe to it, but i noticed if you look closely there are some extra colors in most of the shots. it helps to use the “indexed color” setting in Aseprite or whatever software you use for art to make sure you don’t accidentally get slightly different colors outside of your palette. so keep that in mind! hope you will return and get a full game done next year!
Heyy, thank you for the review. We used Aseprite for our assets and even tried sticking to the color palette, but we didn’t notice the extra colors earlier, really sorry for that, we’ll keep that in mind. I’ll try using the indexed color setting then. We’re planning on building the project further, and yes we’ll definitely return next year!
Screens look very cool but without any game to play I can't really say anything more
Very interesting story, and the art looks great! Beautiful use of the 4 color palette. I would love to see this game through if you do continue to work on it.
Damn shame, concept art and vibes look immaculate! Love the greyscale and that sun dias? stone tablet? looks v cool! Would be intrigued if you continue work on this!
I really enjoyed the concept story and artwork! I'd love to play the game whenever it comes out.
