Pretty cool! I don't really have any critiques for this one or much to say beyond the game being cool. I'm a big fan of the Ace Attorney series so I'm always in the mood for a good mystery.
One of the gems of this jam for sure! It's just too bad that there is no music.
The gameplay reminds me of Ace Attorney Investigation, it's great. The story is compelling and the characters are all quite charming in their own way. I really liked it, congrats!

Love how bold you were just adding a mandatory binary puzzle to a jam game. If you know how it works it's trivial, if you don't, then good luck solving it. I appreciate the respect you have for your player's intelligence.
The case may be a bit easy to crack, only one suspects has a motive, an opportunity and no alibi, but it's still very pleasant to see it come together as you gather evidences. Gameboy investigation games is such a rich vein left untouched. I especially adore your final Danganronpa-like explanation of the murder. Very flavorfull.
The lack of sound is a pain, it would have been the final touch to an all around very solid game.
I was so into the story and figuring out who did it that I didn't even notice there was no music till I read the comments lol. Very fun and well-made game.

The detective investigation gameplay was really cool ! It's a shame there wasn't any music, though. I didn't really understand the puzzle, so I just tried a bunch of different combinations until I managed to open the secret passage haha. It was fun to play, and the graphics are simple but work really well :)
glad you enjoyed the gameplay! yeah the puzzle can be a bit difficult, i might have over adjusted a bit since i thought it was relatively simple and could be brute-forced. i prolly needed to drop more hints or be a little more clear there. but still thanks for playing!
The most engaging game I played. The art and the story are *Chef kiss* . The game is still great even without any music. AMAZING work!!
