Has anyone used DLSS 5 in StarMaker?

Starmaker Story is a low spec Unity pixel art visual novel, so even community DLSS 5 injectors that hook Direct3D and run the neural pass on a finished color buffer would not help. Those mods expect a conventional 3D frame plus usable motion vectors. This game mostly draws sprites, full screen CGs, UI, and 2D cameras, often on DX11, so the buffers are a collage rather than a coherent render and motion data is empty or wrong. The network then tries to infer photoreal lighting and materials, which smears pixel art, wrecks the intended pixel look, and can melt text and HUD. You would also pay a large frame rate cost on a title that already runs on integrated graphics. The hook might attach. The feature still has nothing valid to work with.

Kal is working on shaders to improve the visual aspect of the game and has even offered to make this open source for other games to use. Also all CGs have been updated with a lighting effect to improve visuals. This is a better solution for 2D games and should show when we get 1.9

Now say even if you could, you would end up with some ugly Juggernaut XL looking crap

Which I am pretty sure nobody wants...

That’s awesome! I’m sure Kal will love it. He’s been keeping this on the down low, so who knows — he’s probably over there doing something sketchy with it right now.

" What have you done to my milf!!"

Exactly I am trying to say what something like DLSS 5 would do to her 😅

The pixel art is where this game gets 95% of it's charm.
