How does your game meet GBJam's theme
Besides the game being about excavating literal gold, the idea of the excavation itself, the mining for resources that could be very ancient (i.e. gold or any other natural resource) fit the "Old" part in "Old Gold".

Nice mini game, took me a second to realize it was a mini game compilation. Like the art and style. Was fun.

I like the idea a lot, feels kinda like a twist on fishing minigames. :)
