The game has a really cool atmosphere. Really interesting project, man! The mechanics are clever, and it runs super smooth in the browser, which is awesome. Solid work for a jam entry, keep it up!

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed the atmosphere and mechanics, and it's great to hear that the browser version ran smoothly for you. I really appreciate the feedback! :)

I tried downloading DoughBorn, but unfortunately I couldn't get the downloaded version to run on my Windows PC. I did watch the gameplay video so I could at least see how the game works. The atmosphere and pixel-art presentation look very impressive. I wasn't able to play enough to give you fair feedback on the gameplay itself.

Thanks for letting me know, and thanks for taking the time to check out the gameplay video! I'm glad you liked the atmosphere and pixel art :)

That's strange — I haven't been able to reproduce this issue with the Windows version so far, but I'll keep an eye on it. If you get a chance, you can also try the browser version, which lets you play the demo directly on itch.io without downloading anything. If you remember what happened when you tried to launch it (an error message, nothing happening, etc.), I'd really appreciate the details — they might help me figure out what went wrong.

Thanks again for the feedback!

I really enjoyed the simple color-based graphics. The limited colors give the game a nice, clean visual style, and the red claw really stands out.
I also really like the WASD + mouse controls. Using the mouse for the claw makes the movement feel different from a typical platformer, and it’s a clever way to make the claw feel like a separate tool rather than just another button.
That said, I found the game a little difficult right from the beginning. It took me some time to get used to the movement and the claw, so I think a slightly gentler first level could help players get comfortable with the mechanics before things get harder.
Overall, I really like the concept and the feel of the game. The claw mechanic has a lot of potential!
