Interesting story but not too much gameplay, Not really my kind of game but still enjoyable, good job!

While in fullscreen mode, you cant see the popup for resetting(firefox), making it feel like the game crashed.
I liked the layout of the screen, had me look twice to understand what was going on. And i was surprised how well the music fit to what i was reading. Really build up some good tension.
Though i wonder, what the final point is. Some more gamification could would have been nice imo.
Maybe someone sending you messages, that reveals the plot. Sometimes messages, where he addresses you as player directly, like if you already know him for long. Then that person could send you stuff like: "Here look at this article i found", keeping the plot going etc. Making you witness him going more and more mad. Maybe introducing another friend character talking with you about that first person, telling you their concerns..
Long story short: could have been way more exciting. Music was very nice.

Really my goal for this project was: Write a short story, present it in something other than a .pdf file and see how it turns out. Because I do want to get into writing visual novels, this is a method of testing my “quick prototyping platform”.

So the end goal is to make a pipeline to make visual novels as quickly as possible, that’s why I’ll probably work some more on this platform, then move on to Godot to make a more “Traditional” Visual Novel Aesthetic. I don’t think I will be adding much more gamification to this, but thanks for the bug report and testing my game and sharing your opinion. And I have to fix the music credits cause I thought it would show, but apparently the metadata didn’t contain the name of the artist. I have to manually fix it, I think the name of the website was “Incompetech”

This isn't one bit unfortunately so I can't really rate this for the jam. Nice music though.
