[Free] [Still Open] Seeking someone to collaborate with me on an interactive fiction project in Twine

Hi! This is my first time writing a post like this. Until recently, I looked for game jams as a writer to collaborate with others. I attended one, did story writing, but it didn't quite satisfy me. I am (very) far from experienced and have never developed a game before (my background is in gaming journalism, editor-in-chief), but I’ve decided to start with an accessible goal: developing an interactive fiction game in Twine. I intend to release it here, with the main goal of gaining experience.

Thus, I am looking for a co-writer or developer who wants to gain experience with me. Since I am new too, we would be learning together, I am not looking for someone highly experienced, as I wouldn't want to fall short of anyone's high expectations since there are many talented and experienced people here. Right now, I've started working on something. I have a crime/police fiction idea, specifically a fan game, though this can change depending on our discussions.

If you want to gain experience and experimentally develop a finished product in a relaxed pace, feel free to reply!

the crime/police fan-game idea caught my eye, especially your goal of finishing something small at a relaxed pace. i'm into branching character scenes and dialogue, though i haven't built in twine yet. would you be open to chatting with someone learning the tool alongside you, or do you need a co-writer already comfortable with it?

Like I said, knowing Twine or not doesn't really matter. The only criteria, let's say, is finishing a fully developed product without leaving it half-done. You can reach me on Discord at dagethegood and we can chat.

Hey, I would also love to cooperate on something small, but I dont have much expirience aside screenplay writing.

That's fine, since the main goal is to finish a product without leaving it half-done while we grow and develop ourselves. If you want to chat, feel free to send me a message on Discord at dagethegood.

If anyone wants to reach out to me instead of replying here, my Discord is dagethegood. Feel free to add me so we can chat.
