OLHEIRO — A football career sim where you’re the scout, not the manager [Desktop + Mobile Beta]

Hi everyone!

I’m developing OLHEIRO — Da Várzea à Europa, a football career simulation where you are not the manager.

You play as a football scout, starting with almost no reputation in amateur football and trying to build a career all the way to major clubs, European football and even the Brazilian national team.

The main idea is that you don’t control tactics, lineups or substitutions. Instead, your career revolves around scouting players, recommending signings, dealing with the transfer market, deciding whether players should be sold, following the careers of players you discovered and building your own reputation.

The game currently includes:

  • Career progression from amateur football to professional clubs
  • Player scouting and transfer recommendations
  • Player development and retirement
  • Loans and purchase options
  • Brazilian leagues
  • Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana
  • European leagues
  • UEFA Champions League
  • Club World Cup
  • Brazilian National Team scouting
  • Personal life, relationships and family
  • Career achievements and player legacy
  • Desktop and Mobile versions

The project is currently in beta, and I’m looking for people willing to test it and give feedback.

I’m especially interested in:

  • Bugs or situations where the career gets stuck
  • Parts of the game that become repetitive
  • Whether the progression feels too fast or too slow
  • Transfer market balance
  • UI/UX feedback
  • The point where you felt like stopping playing

Language: the game is currently available in Brazilian Portuguese only. English localization is planned.

Any feedback is very welcome. Even a screenshot of a bug or a short comment about your experience helps a lot.
