How did you implement the Theme: Frozen Heart in your game?
I took a more literal approach to the theme and having the main mechanic of the game be cold and managing a bonfire. Succumbing to the cold will remove the player's humanity becoming as wandering husk like the ones seen in game. Creating a tense atmosphere where the player is clockwatching was one of the goals of the project, the player has to manage both their heat levels but also the bonfire itself as their only source of warmth.

Did you implement any of the Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
No

Does your game contain AI-generated assets?

Very good game! Had to look for that last arm longer than I'd like to admit lol. Really good style and sound design too!

Theme —

The game engages directly with the jam's core constraint ("Frozen Heart") by taking a literal and effective approach. Managing body heat and keeping a bonfire lit as your sole source of warmth ties the environment directly to the emotional and physical erosion of the protagonist, making the cold an active antagonist rather than a passive background detail.

Creativity —

Taking traditional survival resource mechanics and weaving them into a psychological horror framework gives it an authentic, earnest identity.

Presentation —

The PSX-style retro aesthetic and moody Unreal Engine environment fit the atmospheric horror mandate.

Gameplay —

Chopping dead trees and feeding logs to the fire creates an urgent, clock-watching loop, though the mechanical interactions remain relatively focused and light on deep systemic complexity.

Story —

Atmospheric and fragment-driven. It relies on environmental text and implication to set the emotional stakes.

Horror —

The game excels most in its mood. The relentless pressure of freezing to death generates genuine unease.

I really liked the artstyle, the little compass arrow stood out to me for some reason. Game was good too! Good job :)
