Tools used to make the game?

Hello!
I have really been enjoying your game and kinda wanted to try to make one of my own, so I wanted to ask: what tools did you use?

The main page says RPG maker, but there are a lot of them.

Rpg maker is a game engine, a tool, and it might not be the right one for your game.

Figure out what kind of game you wanna make, the use an engine good for that style

I was thinking a similar style to what a fair bit of nsfw pokemon games does. Where the game part is similar to normal pokemon but additional nsfw scenes, minigames, sprites, etc.

that’s why I’m asking here.

I believe that the dev used  RPG Maker XP (available on steam and the official RPG Maker website) with pokemon essentials (a modified rpg maker xp project, you have to buy rpg maker before downloading essentials, you can find it by searching it up or on something like eevee expo or pokecommunity )? I would recommend watching Thundaga's tutorial series for pokemon essentials on youtube if you're learning the engine from scratch. For making sprites, you could use something like aseprite, krita, or photoshop.
Game dev stuff tends to be pretty difficult and time consuming, so I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors!

thank you so much for the information!

Im an artist beyond this and have already made a few sprites, so fortunately that part is fairly easy.

It was the game making part I was uncertain about. Again thank you!

Took the words right out of my mouth, down to the goated Thundaga tutorial reference. I literally have nothing to add here, great response.

well thank you for responding anyway!
