HI

I played your game and had a good time with it. One thing I noticed is that the map editor might feel better if it wasn’t limited to just the visible grid area.

Also, each turn the tiles seem to move upward by one row, but sometimes no new content appears, so that part felt a little empty to me.

I’m looking forward to seeing the full version of the game!

Hi, thanks for the feedback. Yeah, the game does feel quite empty, I think that's the result of a combination of factors. I'm still trying to come up with ways to improve it.

Nice game with cool game mechanics!
But yeah, it took me a bit of a time to figure out what was going on.

  1. At first I didn't understand who I was playing for. You should mention this in the rules and show it visually with a wizard sprite.
  2. Also, at first I didn't get the moving dungeon mechanic. It was mentioned in the rules, but it would be nice to show it visually as well. Like, add 2 images of the dungeon field before and after the dungeon moved up.
  3. The game is missing a few animations like explosions, death, damage. I'd like to see the standard HP number deduction animation. Highlight the wizard's HP with some animation when hit. You can also flash the screen red.

Thanks for the feedback. I haven't touched it for about two weeks—just writing some simple things on the release page—because I've been job hunting this past month, which is especially tough here in China. Around the end of the month, once everything settles down, I'll get around to fixing it.
