Wow! Great job. I like the atmosphere and sound design. The art was really good too, did you guys hand draw everything? reminds of darkwood a lot
Thank you so much! Yep, everything in the game was custom made :) our artist is absolutely cracked lol and our audio people made a TON of music and SFX. glad you enjoyed playing!
You’re both too kind!
Amazing visuals and atmosphere!
Thank you! :)
Theme
The game engages with the jam's core theme ("Frozen Heart") directly through both the literal winter storm setting and the protagonist's internal emotional shift.
Gameplay
Mechanically direct and functional, keeping interactive friction low so the focus stays squarely on the mood and puzzle loops. While it serves the narrative arc well, the mechanical loop remains fairly contained as a jam demo build.
Story
The narrative premise weaves personal tension, isolation, and psychological dread and relies on implication and psychological unease.
Presentation
The aesthetic fits the atmospheric horror while preserving a moody, grounded grit suited for Godot-crafted indie horror.
Creativity
Taking familiar tropes of cabin isolation and winter survival and twisting them into a vehicle for psychological terror the execution leans into distinct choices that keep it from feeling entirely routine.
Horror
By capitalizing on psychological anticipation, isolation, the biting winter elements, and the creeping paranoia of an untrustworthy voice on the line, it generates genuine unease.
Thanks for playing, and for your detailed review! :)
You're welcome. It would be nice if you'd return the favor and rate my game too (if you haven't yet). A review will be appreciated but isn't mandatory.
