Hi everyone, seeing as there are a lot of users who flag this game as using AI generation, I wanted to clarify my stance on this.
After giving it some thought, I've decided to take the following standpoint regarding the policing of AI in this jam: I will not always be able to be 100% certain as to whether AI was used. Sometimes it's obvious, most of the time not so much. I cannot police based on suspicion alone, and I will have to give people the benefit of the doubt. So following that train of thought, I will not be policing the use of AI generation.
Even if a game is very obviously using AI, it would still be unfair to disqualify it if other not-so-obvious AI games do make it through . Policing AI entries also creates a lot of controversy in general which negatively impacts the vibe of the jam.
So yes, while the use of AI in this jam is forbidden, I just don't have the ability to police that consistently - so I'm not going to. Going forward, this rule will be using the honor-system.
If you believe a game is using AI generated content, consider not playing it and not giving it much attention - but please don't bash games for potentially using AI on suspicion alone as innocent games can get caught in the crossfire. I don't want this jam to become a mud-slinging contest, I simply want to celebrate human creativity. I hope you can see my point of view and respect it. Thanks!

It's set in fall, at halloween, in a cozy little town where everyone has their own story.
