Hey everyone!
Whenever I work on tile-based games, drawing every corner, inner turn, and wall combination for full autotile sets (Blob 47 / 16-tile bitmasks) takes forever and feels repetitive.
To solve this, I developed TileSlice, an Aseprite extension that automates the whole process.
How it works:
You only draw 5 core tiles in the canvas template (Solid, Island, Wall, Platform, and Inner Nook). TileSlice breaks them into topological quadrants, runs the math, and synthesizes the full 47 Blob tiles + 16-tile sets instantly on separate layers.
Grid sizes supported: 16x16, 24x24, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64, 128x128.
Color modes: Works with both RGB and Indexed palettes (with optional palette quantization).
Engine-ready: Exports PNG sheets with companion JSON bitmask data for Godot 4, Unity RuleTiles, and GameMaker.
