Hi everyone, seeing as there are a lot of users who flag this game as using AI generation, I wanted to clarify my stance on this.
After giving it some thought, I've decided to take the following standpoint regarding the policing of AI in this jam: I will not always be able to be 100% certain as to whether AI was used. Sometimes it's obvious, most of the time not so much. I cannot police based on suspicion alone, and I will have to give people the benefit of the doubt. So following that train of thought, I will not be policing the use of AI generation.
Even if a game is very obviously using AI, it would still be unfair to disqualify it if other not-so-obvious AI games do make it through . Policing AI entries also creates a lot of controversy in general which negatively impacts the vibe of the jam.
So yes, while the use of AI in this jam is forbidden, I just don't have the ability to police that consistently - so I'm not going to. Going forward, this rule will be using the honor-system.
If you believe a game is using AI generated content, consider not playing it and not giving it much attention - but please don't bash games for potentially using AI on suspicion alone as innocent games can get caught in the crossfire. I don't want this jam to become a mud-slinging contest, I simply want to celebrate human creativity. I hope you can see my point of view and respect it. Thanks!

What about this game? It uses AI too, but you haven’t banned it. Why is it being treated differently?
Exactly, js looking at it its obvious, and if you go to the page of the creator, every other game they made was made with AI.
If you don't believe us, look at their page. it was cade only a couple days ago and they have already releast like 5 AI generated games. all of which have been taged with using AI.
