How does your game tie into the extra theme (optional)
We took the meaning of "roots" figuratively to mean origins and the past. Our game makes past memories of the lost cat central to leading the player towards finding the cat.

It took me a sec to actually figure out the navigation (I thought I'd have to click the mouse rather than hit enter or spacebar) but it was such a cute little story!

The art is amazing!!!
I love the music in this game, shoutout for using the clarinet (I think that was) at least sounded like it. I like the cozy art style as well. I had fun playing it, but the gameplay is a bit short, although I do understand that it would've been hard to make it any bigger in this time window
