Hi! I made a small free tool for pixel artists: drop a PNG sprite, get a seamless wind loop.

A pixel-art tree swaying in the wind

Most wind effects rotate the sprite, and on pixel art that makes the leaves boil. Pixel Wind moves whole leaf clumps by whole pixels instead, so the loop stays clean:

Frame 1 is your sprite, byte for byte
No new colours or transparency levels
The trunk stays put and the loop wraps clean

Left is a typical rotation sway (48,406 changed pixels per loop), right is Pixel Wind (7,732).

It runs in the browser on the itch page, nothing gets uploaded. Exports GIF, sprite sheet + Aseprite JSON, or a ZIP of frames. The code is open source (MIT). I wrote up how it works in a devlog.

Feedback welcome, especially sprites where it looks wrong.
