How does your game tie into the extra theme (optional)
This game ties into the theme of roots for me personally because it embraces my swiss personal roots, in which chestnut stands are extremely popular during the autumn where they are roasted to create this creamy delicacy that is absolutely delicious.

Multiple murders by the customers, but the plate up format was interesting, along with the 'gathering chestnuts' mechanic. You're already aware of the serving plate bug and that's what got me, too. I think it could be a good gameplay loop though! Since roasting took a minute, I would gather multiple rounds of nuts to be ready to go.
The art style and general vibe of the game reminded me of the newgrounds days. The plates were a bit buggy, sometimes I'd press e multiple times and it wouldn't serve and other times it serve and not talk all the chestnuts. The picking and roasting had no problems though!

I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game and the chaos of it all. I do think some music and/or sound effects would've made it even better. I did however not feel very cozy XD
