Hi everyone!
I’ve uploaded a new update for Miniature Room Maker, with more furniture, decorative objects, and design variations, improvements to the editor, and more freedom to arrange the little details in your rooms.
A big thank you to everyone who’s tried it and shared feedback so far. Your reviews helped me spot things that were awkward or confusing, especially when placing and adjusting objects.
A few tips for arranging your room:
- Start with the bigger furniture, then add smaller decorations around it. It makes finding a layout much easier.
- Use Mirror to try the opposite direction. Flipping a piece left or right can help it look more natural in its spot.
- For wall decorations, choose Back, Left, or Right alignment to match the wall, or let Auto choose.
- Line up accessories with the surface beneath them. For example, place the bottom of a vase against the tabletop so it doesn’t look like it’s floating.
- Use small arrow movements and layer controls to fine-tune placement and put pieces in front of or behind one another.
The furniture uses 2D illustrations, so it won’t rotate freely like a 3D model. Mirror flips the picture, while Tilt makes it lean. Some pieces will suit certain spots better than others, so a little experimenting helps!
If you’ve played an earlier version, I’d love to hear how this update feels. Is decorating easier? Are there any objects that still look out of place, or controls that feel confusing? Screenshots of tricky placements would be really helpful, too.
More reviews and feedback are very welcome, even a quick note about what you enjoyed or what frustrated you gives me something useful to work on. And if there are objects or designs you’d like to see added, let me know!
Thanks again for playing and helping me improve this little project.
