game is nice! just letting you know that apple marks it as malware on mac, so you have to bypass that which is kind of scary.
Yeah I know sorry well I can’t afford a dev subscription
I also don’t have a Mac, I used some random ahh crap to compile it. I am thankful you loved the game
SO much fun. I had the same idea at the beginning of the jam, however I didn't expect the explosions lol. They are so much better and so much more fun (btw was is the technical implementation of the leaves? I presume it isn't one physical object per leaf since it wouldn't be performant)
it’s chunck based loading, then a few layers of illiusion then a shader when u pull ur rake
okay that makes sense, thanks!!
Honestly this is such an amazing game for 3 days, I don't know if you made this in solo or with a team, but if you made this solo it's incredible, if worked with a team it's still amazing.
also quick note: pyromaniac simulator with the acorns, it's really fun, oh and I found a strange creature in the forest after doing a total bombing of it, a skibidi toilet with wheels and like 6 heads? but it was still and wasn't moving
solo. The creature is just an Easter egg.however couldn’t have done it without the help of my playtester Wesley he did some wild crap to the game so I had to make it rly robust. Also if u drop acorns there is a high change a squirrel comes to take the acorn. He then becomes your friend and now I have a squirrels army
I didn't make a game, so I can't rate it, but this game is awesome. It deserves 1st place. Hope you win!
This is such a fun game! Absolute jame gam!
A really polished game! The leaf physics are really good for a game made in only 3 days! Congrats on having it so performant as well, as there seem to be a HUGE amount of leaves!
Very satisfying, really well done in every aspect! I'm going to play this everyday I'm stressed and watch the acorns explode everything!
Cool game, I liked the explosive accorns. It's impressive how many leaves you have in the game and i'm curious to how you did :P
thanks so much, but your rating did not go through it seems
As for the leaves it’s just chunk based loading! There are 36 chunks on game and they move around if you go over the e world edge. The items are stored relative to the position of a chunk not the whole world.
Very good game! I was not expecting the Acorn boms xD I am impressed you made this in 3 days!!
Hey really nice game.. Well polished for a game made in 3 days ^^.
Peak game. Loved the execution and the concept was very good
Deforestation!
son. just drop the acorns. u can recruit a squirrel army with that.
Nice job. This is very addicting!
It's a satisfying and fun little game. I enjoyed it!
Awesome game and very polished
Acorns are wayyyyy too overpowered tho and the burnt trees have weird artifacts unless that's intended. Sad I couldn't explode quadruple skibidi toilet using acorns :<
Well polished! So many power-ups, and I love the leaf physics. Btw, my game also has leaf physics as a core part of the gameplay. Would love it if you could check it out!
nice game! i like the leaf physics but it took me a second to realise that I didn’t need to rake everything. why was there a skibidi toilet
yesnt
I can’t believe how people make games with such detail and polish in 3 days. Soo good! Great work! Loved it!!!
This feels like a full game rather than a jam game with the pure amount of features this thing has! A photo album, save / load, even the assets are all of a pretty refined quality!
Plus, I have a somewhat low-end computer that doesn't usually handle 3d games well, but this was still enjoyable
GG well developed :)
I liked the game, very fun and silly. Lots of leaves
