Use of the limitation
A crystal oscillator is what generates the clock signal needed for the CPU to execute tasks. The faster the crystal is oscillating the faster the CPU is running. In my game insects called "quartz eaters" damage the crystal and slow down the CPU, which leads to more glitchy and slow gameplay. The insects speed is however unnafected, and so the game becomes exponentially harder, if you can not keep up with the amount of quartz eaters.

the concept of the game is really cool :)

I liked the retro arcade feel and the simple “defend the crystal” objective! Things get nicely hectic as more enemies appear. My main suggestion would be stronger combat feedback and clearer threat indicators, since the small sprites and projectiles can become difficult to track during busy moments.

Pretty unique idea that losing health affects your ability to move and shoot!
