Project Lockdown — An Offline Social Deduction Party Game
Hey everyone! ๐
I recently made a small offline/tabletop party game called Project Lockdown, inspired by The Thing and Total Rickall from Rick and Morty.
The basic idea is simple: you're trapped in an isolated facility, but there are more people than there should be. Some players are humans, while others are parasites hiding among them.
The game is inspired by Werewolf/Mafia, but I wanted to remove the traditional night phase and narrator. Instead, everything happens openly through discussion, accusations, voting, and elimination.
The main twist is what happens when someone dies:
๐ซ If a Human is eliminated, they get a revenge shot. โ ๏ธ If it's a Parasite, they simply die.
This can lead to some pretty chaotic chain reactions, especially when players aren't sure who they can trust.
The game is designed to be played with printed cards (but you can improvize with any deck) around a table, and the files are available for free on itch.io:

I'd really appreciate feedback, especially from people who enjoy social deduction games.
Does the core mechanic sound fun? Are the rules easy to understand? Is there anything that seems confusing or unnecessary?
If you give it a try, I'd love to hear how it went!
