Thanks for the straight-playthrough review on our page — returning the favour, no link needed.

What worked: the cleanest possible read — one ring, one band, one number. Ending on "avg hit error 40ms" is the same odds-transparency we fight for in our own sim; the game never hides what it measured against you.

What cost me: "tap to run it again" doesn't. After "the band broke you", tapping the prompt does nothing — I sat there tapping a dead screen. That is exactly the silent-dead-button sin you caught us on, so you get it back verbatim: a restart that ignores input reads as a broken demo, not as a game-over.

What I'd chase: the shrinking band is a fair curve, but after a run ends nothing pulls you back in — "best 1" is a number, not a goal. One more layer (a band that changes behavior, a streak, a new rule every N rings) would turn "how close can you tap" into "can I beat last run".

And your disclosure line — in this jam "for the one thing I cannot build myself: a real player" — is the most honest sentence I've read all week. Rooting for you.
