Honestly, no clue what is going on. I think I got hit but then I just stay dead? What's the goal anyway? Am I even still in the play area?
The movement was pretty interesting and cutting down the rectangles was fun.
I think it could have benefited from some sort of gravitational pull.
Shame you ran out of time, the core of this felt like it had a pretty good shell. Controls feel like they are kind of at the right level of difficulty for this dogfighting sort of style, and cutting through the buildings was super cool.
Haha
I didn't quite get what was going on, but it was impressive. Yeah, it wasn't clear at all what to do, but slicing through the skyscrapers was fun :D
I like the destructible terrain.
I personally feel it is an interesting choice to do a custom renderer. That's one of those things that is a cool challenge for yourself, and it probably was rather engaging/challenging to implement. I do feel like it was probably too large of a scope for a game jam, but it is impressive nonetheless.
Definitely an interesting idea, but there was no indication of what the goal was. Controls were really clunky. It was strange to not have any way to restart after dying without reloading the page, too.
made with a custom renderer? That's impressive.
I love flying around at high speed and shooting enemies, this is a solid concept. I think what's missing is more environment like the building at the start, to help appreciate the speed more.
I liked the music too.
