I originally wanted to comment how cool it is that you managed to make a working enemy in only 3 days (I tried something similar, it did NOT end well), and something about how it feels a bit to easy, but then in the next 3 moves I lost the queen, the white tile bishop and a pawn...!

Very good enemy programing! And generally a well polished game (The buttons were sometimes a bit hard to click, no worries though)! Really well done!

BTW: I still somehow won!

(I think he was feeling sorry for my poor chess skills that game

To be honest, I never quite managed to create a truly effective enemy :D It has two modes of action: either making a random move or capturing a piece if possible. Unfortunately, I still ran out of time to add a proper dialogue system to the game

I find it funny that the character seems to keep distracting us from the game with random ideas xD There were a few glitches, like when I checked the King with my Queen and the character moved some other piece, which would win me the game. Still, with a bit of improvement, the sound of the rain outside and all, it was a very cozy experience :)

Hey, that was a pretty well executed idea! Not sure how, but I managed to get the kings to kiss, but other than that the audiovisuals and the stories give pretty solid and cozy atmosphere. I would only change the camera though as it was slightly disorienting. image.png

Yes, the camera really could use some work. Thanks a lot!
