Gameplay starts at 15:10
I tried this with an Xbox compatible controller. Controls were fairly responsive, though there was one weird spot at about 18:00. I also had no idea about a double jump. If you can add simple text on screen that tells how move, including the dash and double jump, that would be great! Otherwise, the controls were fairly intuitive to me, as I've played a lot of Mega Man style games. I'd like to see what comes of this project in the future!
Thank for checking out my little prototype! Proper tutorial text is definitely one of the top things on my list to add! As for the bug at 18:00, I have no idea why that happened, it's the first time I've seen it. I'll do my best to hunt down the cause!
Again, Thank you so much for playing!
Hello! Welcome to Feedback Quest 9! I'm Hythrain, one of the hosts for this event! While I'm a bit behind with getting my VODs out, I played your game on stream and wanted to send you the VOD. I make the effort to express all of my thoughts for feedback in the VOD, so I hope it's useful to you! Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7WMdtPAmRA
I also want to let you know that this is perhaps one of the most exciting projects for me to see in a long time. I grew up with Mega Man X games (which I reference in the VOD), and your gameplay reminds me so much of them so far that I want to watch its progress closely. If you're not on it already, please consider joining the Indie Questing Discord (the main Discord for Feedback Quest) and joining future events with this project. :)
Thank you so much for the feedback! It may be a hot second before I submit it again, there's a few features and systems that I really want to have up and running next time, well as addressing feedback based tweaks. I do look forward to it tho!
Again, I want thank you so so so so much for the feedback!
Thankfully, there's 11 months before the next event comes around. :)
please add screenshots so streamers and devs browsing can understand what kind of game you have.
Oop-! Thank you for the reminder, I completely spaced it!!
Updated the page and did a few short tweaks to iron the game out a bit, mostly visual and audio that I hadn't been able to add to the previous version 👍
great, thanks for the update. <3
